Why Warren Buffett is the GOAT

Some people are suggesting Warren Buffet is not the GOAT investor. You know your girl loves Warren, so she's gotta post.

I get day trading/momentum styles are in vogue such that it might be hard for newbies to understand. But let me just lovingly break down why you're wrong AF super directly in 5 points...

5. It's an Insurance Company. He was the first to fully appreciate how you could grow wealth via BRK's structure. Some of you will fight this. I would say: If that's your opinion, you still have a significant learning curve as relates to assessing financials, strategy, and corp structure.

4. Lack of Ego.  Every other investor who might also be considered a GOAT has gotten into ego-pissing matches with another investor. In some cases this has been extremely costly. In an entire lifetime, Warren & Charlie never did this. And this is even though Charlie would make fun, accurate, but very direct statements. 

3. Salomon Brothers & What it means to have character. If are questioning whether Warren is a GOAT then you've clearly never watched this congressional hearing from the 90s. It's very instructive. Even if others claimed to/tried to "drain the swamp," Buffet has proven he can do this.

2. Actual Wealth Accumulation with transparency. This one is always the easiest to see because Berkshire Class A does not do stock splits or issue shares randomly through funky structures (except Berkshire B). ALSO, the amount of other eyes on Berkshire is insane. They are all deep-dive value folks. ALSO, others monitor book value closely (not true of other private equity shops). ALSO, IMO, the way most go about their valuation leaves a conservative buffer.

1. No one else can bail out the US Government. Let's not even play. That is what the cash balance is all about and Warren isn't even confused that he would always be willing to do it as part of his patriotic duty. Any mouthy disparaging FinXer should not even try to dispute it, because - quite frankly - He's already done it once!!

Am I a super fan and potentially biases? Yes. But am I also right? Yes.
